There is something stranger also, by comparing the date and time from when they're importing on the C drive, to the original photo on my note 8 phone, the time difference is EXACTLY 5 HOURS.īy looking at the time difference on this website: Shortly after, by using MTPdrive again, the date(s) have changed again!!!! Now the dates say:įor example, image filename IMG-20191105-WA0018.jpg,Īnd when copied to my C drive, using vice versa pro, the dates become, And by physically looking through each picture (destination was at night at a restaurant with family cousins and friends), it seemed like the date modified was mixed up so stupid me, i went and downloaded several programs and tried to use these softwares to import and copy whatsapp photos to my C drive. Additionally, there is something strange happening now because since 2 days ago, I was looking through more pictures and I found out that the date modified were a few minutes apart from the date created with other pictures. Okay, I think there seems to be a misunderstanding, these are whatsapp pictures so there is no date taken or EXIF data.

I also know this because, by looking at the filename it is in 2019 (IMG-20191104-WA0049), so obviously the date of 2017 is wrong.
In another example, looking at the whatsapp photo named IMG-20191104-WA0049Īfter importing this photo to my desktop PC, again, this photo was not sent/received in 2017.
